Working Title: The Dom's Invitation Release Date: 2020
EXCERPT (UNEDITED) ... “Please, Tanner,” Crystal begged pitifully, raising her watery eyes up to meet mine. “What can I do to make this up to you? I still love you. Please … isn’t there some way we can work this out between us?” “You are unbelievable,” I shook my head in shock. “I don’t want you,” I snorted, disgusted with the mere idea. “You’ve destroyed any feelings I may have begun to develop for you. There is no coming back from what you did.” “I made a mistake,” she whispered hoarsely, wiping tears from her cheeks. “And you’re not a mistake I’m keen on repeating,” I ground out firmly, leaving no doubt in any sane person’s mind that what we had, was over. Completely. “You better hope that Carlo doesn’t find out about your pathetic little phone calls you’ve been making to me, or this visit tonight. He’s not as forgiving as I am.” Carlo was an over the top sadist, and for the life of me, I couldn’t work out why Crystal had cheated on me with him. From my knowledge, Crystal wasn’t into that as deep as Carlo was. Hell. She’d balked at some of the things I liked to inflict. How the hell did she endure what Carlo is known to put his subs through? Something doesn’t add up here. For the first time since our breakup, the hairs on the back of my neck tingled. Something is amiss. But what the fuck can it be? © Copyright Carol Delmornay 2019.
