Good morning!

Good morning from the cold Goldfields of Western Australia.

The app said '5 degrees but feels like 1.5' - it sure did. Even just taking a thumb out of one glove to tap the screen for the photos almost froze off. Every house that has a fireplace has a fire burning this morning. Another 10 degrees and that will be our maximum today, so they'll be burning all day, too.

Nice and warm inside, so won't be venturing outside at all. Good day to watch the football games on TV - just so happens to be both teams that are supported in this house - the season has had around 14 games so far and both of these teams have played on the same damn day for about 10 of them. One team is in the top 8 at the moment, the other team is lucky not to be awarded the wooden spoon this season - they won last weekend which is a miracle with the way they've played up to that point. Let's hope they save a bit of face by winning a few more before the end of the season.
