Apologies

Don't know if any of you have noticed I haven't been on social media for a while. I'm not normally one who shares things of a personal nature on FB, (until our first grandchild arrives, then you'll all be flooded with baby pictures) but I just thought some of you may be wondering where I am.

I haven't caught covid-19 - I'm lucky to be living in a state of Australia where it has been contained. I'm also still in the land of the living. I have, however, been dealing with chronic pain from 4 herniated discs in my lower back for quite some time which is now at the point of being unbearable. My GP has put me on medication that is also used for cancer patients; I'm lucky if I get 3-4 hours sleep at a time (that includes maybe napping twice during the day), and I can't walk unaided. I'm waiting on an appointment with a neurologist in the city (a 7 hour drive, or train ride, which is going to be quite a challenge for me).

It had been my intention to release 3 books this year. So far, that hasn't worked out very well. I'm still working on my first stand-alone that was supposed to be released earlier this year, and that is getting close to coming to an end, but then I'll have a few weeks to edit it (it's a massive freaking book because I can't seem to write novellas!). I apologize to all of you who are waiting on His Word...Detraction (Book 2 in the Shattered Series), and the second book in Lucifer's Play Ground Series. Realistically, those will not be out this year. But I have changed the cover on His Word...Deception (Book 1 in the Shattered Series). The new cover is below.
