Good afternoon from the bloody hot Goldfields of Western Australia.
Bet you all thought I'd fallen off the perch or something. Nope. Still alive and kicking!
The first day of summer was officially the 1st of December - and that's the beginning of the first heatwave we've got- it was even too hot to venture out of the house! It takes a little while to get used to summer when it's around 40 degrees (c). Not too bad today, but still hot.
I've done a quick little video that I'm going to post here. Been busy making jewellery (yes, we spell it like that) which has taken forever to upload to the website and package - as you will see when you take a look at the video - just ignore the shakes - I was walking along the length of it. Tried to hold the phone as still as I could.

Haven't done any writing at all for the past month or so. Not what those waiting to read His Word...Depraved want to hear right now. Planning to get back into writing over the next week or so, though.
Is everyone ready for Christmas? We don't do anything different than any other day. The kids (and grandsons) are in Perth. Can't go visit them for the day as we can't leave our cat alone. He will stress too much now that the older cat is no longer with us. Don't have anyone to feed him, either. So, we'll just stay home like usual but still have all the Christmas dinner with trimmings. Just smaller amounts now that it's just the two of us.
Will be around more often ... promise.
