So, going to post another little tidbit of an excerpt of the current WIP, that still doesn't have a title yet (but have had some FANTASTIC suggestions from Tracy Rush - one which has actually been used for another work that has been started - so just have to decide which one or combination is going to be used for this one) ... and is yet, unedited, so keep that in mind while reading ...
EXCERPT ...
His arm tightened around my shoulders, pulling me in hard, his hand clenched hard on the top of my upper arm as if he could detect the chill working its way through his jacket and seeping into my bones. I hated winter. I hated being cold. The gloomy dark skies also had an undesirable effect on my mood. I’d just had the most erotically charged, sexually satisfying and most painful night of my life, yet with every step, the dark clouds seemed to squash what little remained of the euphoric excitement of the evening, snuffing it out like the cold wind blowing out the flame of a candle as the taunts in my head became louder and louder. By the time we’d reached my front door, I was totally convinced his invitation had only been extended in order to curb my obsession of him and my spirits plummeted despondently, my eyes welling with tears that I was absolutely determined not to allow to spill over and down my cheeks. I turned, and smiled a weak, nervous smile as I looked up at him, reluctantly beginning to remove his jacket. “Keep it on.” He reached out and pulled the jacket closed, holding the two halves firmly together. “The tube of salve is in the right pocket. You’ll need to re-apply some before you go to bed and again in the morning. I suggest you don’t try and shower for tonight … perhaps just use a washcloth for a quick wash.” “Thank you, Mr. Newsom … for … you know … everything,” I shrugged my shoulders ruefully. It sounded so lame, even to my ears, but what else could I say? Thanks for the intense orgasms? Thanks for the unbelievable taste of your erotic life? Thanks for the most painful experience of my entire life? He smiled, a genuine smile that had my heart skipping a beat as he pulled me closer to him by the two halves of the jacket that he still had hold of, bending down to bring his eyes level with mine, so close I could see the varying shades of blue in his eyes under the sensor lights that had come on at my front door. “I would like to amend something I said earlier … although it may not always be about the sex for me, Sienna, that doesn’t mean I don’t want to fuck you into the middle of next week.” My heart completely stopped beating for a few seconds as he smirked at me, let go of the hold he had on his jacket and turned around to walk back down my path to the road, leaving me standing in complete shock at my front door.
