Pulling open the top drawer, I sorted through the lingerie on the top until I found the azure blue one I was looking for. I chewed on my bottom lip indecisively when I held it up. The dress I wanted to wear over the top was a cornflower blue---just a smidgen darker than the azure. With the lace overlay on the dress, it shouldn’t show through. But then I saw another potential problem. The corset was sexy---damned seductive---but it had a strappy cup frame over the top of the breast. The neckline on the dress may not cover the strap. Will it be too slutty if the thin strap is on show? Damn it.

“LEXI?” I yelled down the hallway. I needed a second opinion before I put it on. While I waited for Lexi to reach my bedroom, I walked over and pulled open the wardrobe door, un-hooking the hanger that held my cornflower blue dress, off the rounded rail.

“What?” Lexi questioned from the open doorway of my room.

“These straps are going to show,” I held the corset up, and stretching out one finger on the hand holding the curved hook of the hanger with the dress, I pointed to the curved strap that would outline and lay over the top of my pillowed breasts. “The neckline on the dress plunges too low and isn’t going to cover them.” My brows furrowed anxiously as I turned to Lexi. She grinned slowly and shrugged her shoulders up.

“So?” She queried.

“What do you mean so?”

“Just imagine the temptation…” She left the sentence hanging and her wicked grin widened.

“I don’t want to look like a damned hussy!” I stated and Lexi just laughed.

“You’re not going to look like a hussy---you’re going to look like a tempting piece of cake that he’s not going to be able to resist taking a bite out of.” I looked back down at the lingerie, then over at the dress in my other hand while my teeth worried my bottom lip. “Don’t even think about changing the corset…WEAR IT!” She said heatedly. “Mark my words---you’ll be thanking me when you get home this afternoon.” With the knowing eyebrow waggle she directed at me, I couldn’t help but giggle.

“I just don’t want to look like a desperate little slut.” I declared. Lexi still couldn’t wipe the grin off her face.

“You won’t look desperate,” she assured me. “And maybe you don’t wanna look like one…which I can completely understand---but you certainly wanna BE one for Jaxon.” She taunted me playfully, her hazel eyes sparkling devilishly. When I threw my dress and corset over to the bed and made a frantic lunge for her, she squealed like a little kid and turned on her toes quicker than I’d ever seen her move before, and ran back down the hall toward the kitchen.
